Advisera certificates and certification marks may be used by certified persons to demonstrate the certification they have earned. They must be used accurately and in a way that does not mislead others.
What you may do
You may:
- display your certificate and Advisera certification mark on your CV, LinkedIn profile, personal website, email signature, presentations, and similar professional materials;
- state that you are certified by Advisera, using the exact certification title you have been awarded; and
- use the certification mark provided by Advisera while your certification is valid.
Rules you must follow
When referring to your certification or using a certificate or certification mark:
- Make claims only within the scope and level of certification you have been awarded.
- Make it clear that the certification applies to you as an individual, not to your employer, company, products, or services.
- Do not alter the certificate or certification mark, except for proportionally resizing the mark.
- Do not use the certificate or mark in a false, misleading, or unauthorized way.
- Do not transfer or allow another person or organization to use your certificate or certification mark.
- Do not use Advisera’s corporate logo, accreditation marks, or third-party marks shown on your certificate separately unless you have explicit permission to do so.
The certificate remains the property of Advisera.
Suspension, withdrawal, or expiry
If your certification is suspended, you must stop promoting the certification and using the certification mark until the suspension is lifted.
If your certification is withdrawn or expires, you must stop using the certification mark and stop claiming that you hold a current Advisera certification. If requested, you must also return or stop using the certificate.
Misuse of a certificate or certification mark may result in corrective action, suspension, reduction of certification scope, or withdrawal of certification.
